Story of a Basketball Player : Marzana Akter

Marzana Akter was admitted to CRP as a spinal cord injury patient after falling off a tree in 2015. As she had a keen interest in playing basketball, she was included in the women’s team formed in 2016. From the beginning, considering her teamwork and game strategy, she was selected as the captain of the team. Since she attended local and international wheelchair basketball camps and also participated in International Tournaments in Nepal, Indonesia, and Thailand. Now she is going to complete her BSc in Speech and Language Therapy from Bangladesh Health Professions Institute (BHPI), the academic institute of CRP. She has an unquenchable thirst to improve herself and also encourages others around her to do so.
